She uses a warm, compassionate, and individualized approach to create a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Her therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also incorporating play-based techniques when appropriate to help children and adolescents express themselves, build coping skills, and develop emotional awareness.
Maria believes that every client has unique strengths and works collaboratively with children, adolescents, and families to support meaningful progress. She strives to build trusting relationships by meeting clients where they are and helping them develop the tools needed to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.
